Anne Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts Psychology, a Master of Arts Psychology and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is registered in practice as a Psychologist in Australia under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and the Psychology Board of Australia with an endorsed speciality in the area of Forensic Psychology. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, a full member of the APS College of Forensic Psychologists and a member of the International Neuropsychological Society. Anne is accredited to provide services under Workcover NSW and is a registered Medicare Provider.
Anne has worked as a Psychologist for over 15 years and has extensive experience in public hospital settings (Adult Mental Health) and acted as a Specialist Psychological Consultant to the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service for over 10 years. Anne has also worked for the Department of Courts Administration providing reports to Supreme Court level in the Criminal jurisdiction. In Civil matters Anne has provided psychological assessments and reports to major insurers as well as reports to private Rehabilitation Providers, Employers, Industrial Relations Commission and Legal Practitioners. She has proven experience in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution and provision of Employee Assistance Programs. Currently Anne provides clinical and assessment services where she specialises in assessment and treatment for a variety of problems with a special interest in strengths based assessment and positive psychology approaches to treating psychological distress.
